The Canadian Physical Crude Oil desk at Tullett Prebon, strategically located in Calgary, Alberta continues to play a leading role in brokering all Canadian grades of oil across the network of delivery hubs and the spectrum of pipelines throughout the country. Types of oil include, but are not limited to, Heavies, such as WCS and LLB; Syncrude (SYN); Sweet; Sours (LSB, MSO, MID); and Condensate (C5). All products settle against the calendar month NYMEX contract, plus or minus the appropriate differential, and trade near month or virtually any term, typically as far out as a year. Clients include a broad range of producers, refiners, marketing companies and institutional banks in Canada and the US. Customers are able to draw upon Tullett Prebon’s relationships to access the latest market colour and ensure timely delivery of live prices and trade confirmation in an ever-competitive and evolving marketplace.
